What we keep, why we keep it, and what we will never do with it.

The principle

Scalar Flower Astrology exists to read the field. We collect only what is needed to compute that reading and to keep your account working. We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We do not run advertising on this site. We do not embed third-party tracking pixels in your reading view.

What we collect

Birth information you submit

To cast your chart, you submit a name, date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth. This is the raw material of the reading itself. We store it in our database so that:

• Your chart can be re-rendered on demand (when you re-open a saved reading).
• Partner and Alliance readings can compose multiple charts.
• You can ask follow-up questions about a reading you have already received.

Account information

When you sign in, we receive the email address associated with your Google account. We use this to:

• Identify your account.
• Send you the claim link for a reading you purchased (if you bought one without signing in first).
• Send transactional email (purchase confirmation, reading-ready notification).

We do not send marketing email. We do not maintain a newsletter list.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Shopify. We never see or store your card number, expiration date, or CVV. We receive from Shopify only: the order identifier, the product purchased, the email used at checkout, and the order status.

How we use the chart data

Your birth data is used only to compute your chart and your readings. The Scalar Flower computation runs on our private server and the result is delivered to you through your signed-in session. We do not aggregate your birth data with anyone else's, and we do not train any model on it.

Where the data lives

Your account and entitlement data are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database (an SQLite-compatible edge database). Your reading PDFs are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage. The public Scalar Flower site is served from Cloudflare Pages. The private chart-computation server runs on Railway.

Cookies and tracking

We use a single first-party cookie for session authentication. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party analytics or advertising tracker. Server logs (which contain your IP address) are retained for 30 days for abuse-prevention and then deleted.

Your rights

You can:

• See your data. Sign in and visit /my for your charts and readings.
• Download your data. Each reading has a PDF link. You can save it.
• Delete your data. Email us and we will permanently remove your account, charts, and readings.

Children

The Scalar Flower service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect birth data for children under 13. If a parent or guardian has submitted a minor's chart and wishes it removed, contact us.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a material way, we will note the change on the homepage with a one-paragraph summary, and update the date below. We will not silently expand what we collect.
